- JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Education
- A diploma, Associate or Baccalaureate degree and 1 censure in nursing is preferred. Masters degree in exercise physiology may be considered.
- Experience
- The Manager Cardiopulmonary Rehab must possess and demonstrate clinical knowledge and competence in chosen clinical area with 1 year of cardiac or rehab experience preferred.

- Normal hospital environment. Eyesight and hearing within normal range. Exposure to biological hazards. Operates monitors, treadmills, bikes, 02 Sat. machine, 02 tanks. Continuous standing and walking. Frequent bending and stooping. Distinguish smells. Distinguish temperature by touch. Lifting up to 40 lbs., carrying up to 25 lbs., pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs.
- JOB SUMMARY
- The Manager Cardiopulmonary Rehab is a professional directly responsible for the delivery of patient/family education and therapeutic exercise of patients serviced by the Cardiac /Rehab Services department. The Assistant Director-Cardiopulmonary Rehab must serve as a role model in clinical skills and leadership and demonstrates teaching skills necessary for educating patients and their families. Communicates effectively within the organization; projects a positive professional attitude to patients, staff, visitors, and students; performs appropriately and decisively in a crisis situation. Routinely, assigns and responsibly directs staff. This position is required to utilize independent judgement.
