Full Time, Day Shift, M-F day shifts with call required

Minimum Age Requirement: 18 years of age or older

  • JOB REQUIREMENTS
    • Education
      • Minimum of Bachelor of Science degree, preferably in Nuclear Medicine, satisfactory completion of formal Nuclear Medicine Technology training in a school approved by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Nuclear Medicine Technology and must be registered by the A.R.R.T. or board certified by the NMTCB, both preferred.  Must be licensed with the State of Arkansas in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
    • Experience
      • Completion of the clinical requirements of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program.
    • Physical
      • Exposure to radiological hazard-occupational levels. Close eye work. Hearing within normal range. Oral communication. Operates computer, image processing, and patient monitoring. Lifting up to 50lbs. Pushing/pulling up to 250lbs. Frequent sitting, standing, walking and bending.

  • JOB SUMMARY
    • Performs a variety of duties in preparing patients for Nuclear Medicine studies under the direction of an authorized using physician and the supervision of the Manager and Assistant Manager. Expected to operate Nuclear Medicine equipment, perform and evaluate clinical procedures including post-processing and administrative requirements ensuring quality control standards, the preparation, calibration, and administration of radiopharmaceuticals and to direct and assists in all necessary radiation safety duties as they arise and to administer non-radioactive drugs required for imaging and patient care in accordance to Medical Center policy 07 Medication Administration.
