Full Time, Day Shift, M-F 8a-4:30p

Minimum Age Requirement: 18 years of age or older

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education: Bachelor’s Degree required, HIM program certificate preferred

Experience 2 + years’ experience in related field (customer service, patient registration, scheduling, IT etc) preferred

Physical: This is a safety sensitive position. Please see the St. Bernards Substance Abuse Policy for further information. Basic understanding of complex medical record management concepts, data integrity, health information standards and regulations.  Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.  Ability to maintain high level of integrity and confidentiality relating to employee/patient and hospital information.

JOB SUMMARY

Serve as the subject matter expert on the Patient Portal’s functionally, as well as the primary resource and technical contact for patients, patient families, referring community physicians and onsite/staff physicians. Responsible for educating, coaching and engaging all users on the use and benefits of the Patient Portal.
