    • Experience
      • Excellent verbal communication skills, ability to work in a team environment, and ability to work in stressful environments is essential. The ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks is also desired. Employed a minimum of 3 months at SBMC pharmacy, or equivalent experience.
    • Physical

      • Work is conducted in a normal hospital environment, and involves close eye work and hearing within normal range. Operations will be performed on the computer and multiple other types of technology. Lifting and carrying up to 45 pounds of weight is possible. Pushing/pulling up to 100 pounds may be encountered. Expect frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching.
  • JOB SUMMARY
    • This position is directly supervised by the Inpatient Pharmacy Team Leader and indirectly by Staff Pharmacists. The tasks performed require knowledge about pharmacy procedures and inventory location. The major function of this position is to assist staff pharmacists with the medication dispensing process. Major job responsibilities include medication preparation, medication delivery, inventory management, answering/troubleshooting phone calls, managing automated dispensing cabinets, and other duties as assigned.
