PHYSICAL THERAPY MANAGER - FINANCE & TECHNOLOGY
- JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Education
MBA or business degree with accounting background preferred.
Must be licensed in the State of Arkansas to practice Physical Therapy. CPR certified
- Experience
Prefer 5 years of management experience and direct patient care experience in Rehab Services industry but not required. Should have working knowledge of computers, financial software, and spreadsheet software. Should have experience in setting up new operating systems and training accounting and clinic personnel in financial and internal control procedures. Should have working knowledge in developing operating policies and procedures for all aspects of financial and personnel policies and procedures.

- Subject to eye, hand, and position strain. Hearing within normal limits. Prolonged periods of sitting. Frequent standing, walking, bending and stooping. Frequent disruption of routine. Must be able to push, pull and lift 35 pounds. Minimal amount to travel. Must have reliable transportation and current driver’s license in the state of Arkansas and automobile liability insurance.
- JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for all billing functions of the department. Develops and maintains systems and procedures for financial and billing operations. Responsible for the coordination of documentation updates for all therapy disciplines. Works with therapists to ensure that all billing requirements are being met through documentation and then works with IT to implement documentation requirements in Meditech. Responsible for optimizing documentation software for the efficient use of therapist’s time. Responsible to communicate financial information to Executive Director. Works with Ex-Dir to perform market analyses, strategic business models and proposal reports that inform executive decision-making.
