- JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Education
- Must be able to read, write and do simple arithmetic, ability to follow oral and written instructions and work with limited supervision. Mechanical aptitude helpful.
- Experience
- Previous experience helpful. An experienced worker will need three to five days of instructions and at least 30 days on-the-job training under the direction of the Assistant Manager to perform satisfactorily.
- Physical

- General hospital environment. Normal/corrected eyesight. Hearing within normal range. Exposure to chemical, electrical, and mechanical hazards. Operates floor machines – battery operated and electric, buffers, scrubbers, and wet vacuums and extractors. Continuous walking and standing. Lifting up to 75 lbs. Carrying up to 40lbs. Pushing/pulling up to 75lbs.
- JOB SUMMARY
- Principal duties involve trash and refuse removal from assigned areas, proper disposal of infectious and non-infectious waste. Assists with daily floor maintenance as needed.
